A year-round basecamp
To build the future, you need a basecamp for families and friends to gather. Cranmore is underway with the construction of a new expansive base lodge with luxuries like a coffee bar, food pavilion and slopeside bar, with upgraded amenities and 15 spectacular two-story lofted private residences on its upper levels. Currently, guest amenities include:
- Expanded slopeside lodging with Kearsarge Brook Condominiums and a new 89-room Fairfield Inn & Suites North Conway by Marriott.
- Elevated year-round offerings for guests of all ages to enjoy. The Cranmore Mountain Bike Park added over six miles of fresh terrain in 2022 that includes a new machine-built, beginner flow trail, advanced technical trail and jump line. Cranmore also supported the construction of the Mount Washington Valley (MWV) Rec Path, connecting visitors to midpoints within North Conway and the greater MWV mountain bike trail system.
- Improved lift technology. The Skimobile Express Quad, originally installed in 1995, received a $1 million facelift in spring 2022. The full-system modernization came with Doppelmayr’s most advanced, state-of-the-art safety features, including an automated system that will control the lift speed during windy conditions and a tower speaker system that communicates with guests on the lift if needed. The system will also allow the ability to add seats to the lift when capacity upgrades are needed.
